Step 1: Receive Your Download Email
Immediately after your purchase, you will receive a download email. If you haven't received this email, check your spam folder and add us as a safe sender. If you still can't find it, please reach out to us at support@theluxelens.com. There may be a problem with the email that you originally provided.
Step 2: Download the Actions
Click on the link in your download email to download your content. You will be taken to the screen shown below. Your download will contain a zipped file. Back-up this file for future reference. Each purchase comes with three lifetime downloads.
Can't find your downloaded file? Downloaded files are often found in the downloads file on your hard drive.
Step 3: Unzip the Files
If you have a PC: Right-click on the downloaded folder and then click “extract all”. If you have a MAC: Double-click on the downloaded folder and your computer will automatically extract all. The unzipped file is shown below.
Save the extracted files in a documented location on your computer. In the picture above, I have saved my unzipped file in my downloads folder, with my zipped file.
Step 4a: Install the Actions (option 1)
Open Adobe Elements
Select Expert mode
Open the actions panel by selecting Window --> Actions
Below is a screenshot of an open actions panel
Click on the dropdown menu to the right of the word actions and select load actions
Next, a screen will pop-up that shows the file pathway and final location where your actions will be installed. From this screen, click on the location of your unzipped file (in this example, we kept the location in the downloads folder). Select open, and this will load your actions.
Your actions are now loaded and ready for application. Click on the arrow to the left of the action collection folder to expand the contents of the folder.
Step 4b: Install the Actions (option 2)
Alternatively, you can navigate directly to the installation location by following this file pathway on your computer:
Users --> Your Name --> Library --> Application Support --> Adobe --> Elements --> Presets --> Actions
